This summer the streets are getting a little wider

Just Add Another Lane is a satirical performance aimed to showcase all the evil cars that have brought to this world. Jonas Jacobson walks the audience through the history of car centric infrastructure, discusses walkable cities, revealing his personal relationship with cars, and is joined by guest star Mia Lehtinen to learn what we can do to stop the automotive industry in its tracks. The show is hilarious, educational, touching, and even sexy. So run, don’t drive, over to buy your ticket!

Jonas is a Drama and Film student at Queen’s university where he was the writer and director for Garby’s Magical Adventure (2022), the sound designer/live foley for The DAN School’s Paradise Lost (2024), and many more. Jonas loves taking on almost any role on shows but his passions lie in costumes and sound design. In his free time, Jonas is a car hater. He cannot drive.

Mia Lehtinen is a Film and History student at Queen’s university who has spent time creating and participating in a variety of clubs and productions. Taking on acting and behind-the-scenes roles in theatre and filmmaking at Queens, she enjoys and has experience performing, writing, and directing. She strives to create a community of hard working creatives around her, and is always willing to help out on a project, no matter how silly it may be. Mia Lehtinen can drive.
