Enjoy free Latin Dance Classes from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. then put your new moves to the test and enjoy an open floor social dance from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Our expert instructors will guide you through the essential steps, footwork, techniques, and partner work to help you gain confidence, stay active and most importantly, have fun!
We’ll be exploring various styles of dance including:
Salsa, the most popular partner dance in the world.
Bachata, a beautiful and sensual dance, that is all about the hips.
Kizomba, known for slow, rhythmic movements, soulful music and close connection.
Come alone or bring a dance partner. No experience is required! Beginners and pros are welcome!

Bonnie Wannamaker and Alexei Baro from La Vida Bistrobar & Social. La Vida Bistrobar & Social hosts Latin dance parties and workshops that play a variety of Latin beats such as Salsa, Bachata, Cha-cha-cha, Merengue and more.
Nomsa Mngoma from Dansani Dance Company, a local dance company specializing in Latin, Ballroom, Kizomba and Afro-Beats dance classes. Their Latin styles include Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Cha-cha-cha.
Tanvir Kaykobad, Terra Marie, Tamara Centis and Ali Zaydan from the Queen’s University Salsa Club, a student club of Queen’s University with a rich history dating back to 1989 and the first known Club Hispanico dedicated to promoting Spanish and Latin American culture on campus.
