FREE Doors Open Kingston

August 24 @ 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Doors Open invites you to explore fascinating sites that have shaped our community, showcasing how these heritage buildings have evolved to serve modern needs while preserving their historical charm.

This year’s theme of adaptive re-use highlights the innovative ways our cultural landmarks continue to thrive in their community contexts.

Join us on Saturday, July 20th, August 24th, and September 28th, 2024, for this drop-in event where entry to all participating sites is free!

Engage with our city’s history firsthand, guided by the welcoming spirit of our community partners and organizations who open their doors to residents and visitors alike.

Some sites offer additional programming that requires registration, offering deeper insights into Kingston’s vibrant past and present.
