Mark the changing of the season with a guided labyrinth walk followed by fresh-pressed hot apple cider, Grains & Goods Bakery treats, and a poetry reading in the barn.
About the labyrinth: A labyrinth offers an opportunity for an open-eyed, active meditation. The labyrinth, unlike a maze, is intended to clarify rather than confound. Labyrinths are circular, consisting of an easy to follow, meandering spiral path leading to and from the center. As we travel this path as a group, participants are invited to reflect on the parallels that arise between this small passage and life’s larger journey, while enjoying the beauty of the natural surroundings and observing nature’s transition into fall.
About Liz: Liz Huntly is a yoga teacher, baker, mother and poet. In this event she’ll share a selection of her poems centred around themes of environment, the Earth Mother archetype, and her own search for her wild self.
